Paving a brighter future
Social & environmental impact
At Jackson Hayes, our mission goes beyond matching schools with exceptional educators; we aim to inspire teachers, schools, and students to care for the world around them and make a meaningful difference socially and environmentally.
We are deeply committed to setting a positive example for young learners by fostering a culture of kindness, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship and are proud to have started our journey to becoming a certified B Corp.
In partnership with The Wave Project, we’re dedicated to supporting children’s mental health and wellbeing, helping them build confidence and resilience through the healing power of the ocean. In 2024-2025, we contributed to the running costs of surf therapy. This meant that 47 young people were able to benefit from attending surf therapy and they have reported to feel more confident, resilient, calmer and have a more positive outlook on life.
We also partner with Education Support, the only UK charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of everyone working in education. Through this partnership we help raise awareness of the pressures faced by teachers and school staff, and support access to confidential advice, resources and wellbeing services designed specifically for the education sector. We believe that supporting the wellbeing of educators ultimately benefits the whole school community, helping teachers and staff feel valued, supported and able to thrive.
We’re equally dedicated to green practices, reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainability in education. With Ecologi by our side, we plant a tree for every invoice issued, ensuring each placement contributes to a lasting positive impact.
We are proud to partner with Planthood, a company that shares our commitment to health, wellbeing and environmental responsibility. Through this partnership we promote nutritious plant-based food that supports healthier lifestyles while also encouraging a gradual reduction in meat consumption, which can help lower the environmental impact associated with food production, including methane emissions from livestock. Planthood’s use of organic ingredients and environmentally responsible packaging further reflects our shared values around sustainability, helping us promote choices that are better for both people and the planet.
Together, with our partner schools, we’re shaping a brighter future through education.
